Course Overview: The Certificate III in Individual Support has been designed to provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to provide assistance and care for people in need, such as the elderly, those with disabilities, or individuals facing other challenges.
Upon successful completion of the training and assessment, you will be issued with the CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support qualification, along with a transcript listing all units of competency. These qualifications are nationally recognized and applicable throughout Australia.

Program Outline:

  • Mode of Delivery: Blended learning, combining Online learning, face-to-face training, work placement, and self-paced study.

Entry Requirements: To ensure that learners can fully engage in the course and meet the course requirements, applicants must:

  • Be aged 18 years or older
  • Hold a satisfactory Australian police check
  • Hold a minimum of a School Certificate (or equivalent)
  • Possess suitable language, literacy, and numeracy skills to perform workplace tasks (such as measuring, weighing, and comprehending written instructions)

Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009)

Course Description: This unit describes the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines. This unit applies to all persons who may be required to provide CPR, in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings. You will gain the knowledge and confidence to perform CPR on an adult, child, and infant.

Mode of Delivery:

  • Trainer-led, face-to-face in a classroom setting. Training will be conducted at Bethel Training Institute

Statement of Attainment: On successful completion of this course, you will be issued with the following statement of attainment:

  • HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
